About This Timepiece
Serial: 5.7M Case: Case was professionally restored in the past mimicking factory chamfers and bevels. Shows light wear. Dial and Hands: Original "Serif" tritium dial and hands aging a shade darker. Beautiful deep cream patina on both! Bracelet: 11 link 93150 Oyster bracelet stamped S11 with 580 end links showing almost no stretch. Accessories: Watch only. Notes: The king of “no date” Submariners. The 5513 is the watch that comes to mind when I think of a “no date” diver. It’s one of those watches I never get sick of coming across. A no frills, time only tool watch with a symmetrical dial you can stare at all day, all week, all year. One of the best choices for a daily watch in my opinion. This one comes in fantastic shape. The dial has aged to a deep cream with the hands a shade darker matching the lume pip. The bezel insert is in spectacularly clean condition and has slightly faded to a charcoal gray. The case was professionally refinished in the past mimicking factory chamfers and bevels showing light wear. All in all a jaw dropping “Serif Dial” 5513. It doesn’t get much better than this.
